I run a small, niche consultancy which provides project support services. We provide on-site or remote consultancy support for organisations that are re-organising or expanding and have significant business process change. We also provide support with IT projects; any large-scale implementations. Our services range from ad-hoc support for, for example, a partner in a law firm responsible for managing in a new IT system, to full-time on-site project management for a large company that is moving premises.

So, this is business-to-business selling of a high-value consultancy proposition. Our day rates range from 500-900 per day depending on the client and the duration of the work.

I am looking for someone to work through a list of approx 200 companies, making calls, establishing contact details and (a) ideally arranging an appointment to meet or (b) finding out if they would like a one pager so I can follow up myself a few days later.

The tactic for the call is to identify the Finance Director and/or his/her PA and take it from there. I have a good one pager which describes features and benefits of our service and a good website which provides more detail.

The list I have is OK, but not brilliant. There are contact names but these need to be removed and re-validated during the call because they are not the Finance Director and it's the Finance Director we need to be talking to. The list is uploaded into a customised version of Zoho CRM and I have started cleaning the list i.e. removing duplicated entries (where , for example, a group company is listed along with subsidiaries) and checking to see if the company has a website that is reasonably easy to find. A little pre-call checking is necessary to find out if they have a website which tells us what they do, and ideally some clues as to the names of the senior management team.

If all this sounds like something you can help me with, please get in touch. I would like to start with one days work from someone and then review. Ideally I am looking for someone who I can turn to for a couple of days work each month, maybe more, providing it goes well initially, we get along and, crucially, generate some leads and appointments.
