Description
Experience Level: Expert
Estimated project duration: 1 day or less
Num. of words: 6000 (est)
Industry: Maritime/Education
Topic: Technical & Safety Training for Seafarers
Tone: Instructional/Educational
Extensive research needed: no
Our company has produced 20 new elearning courses for which we need a final review of grammar, spelling and presentation. The technical subject matter has all been reviewed and is correct.
This listing is for the proofreading of one of the courses which has a seat (study) time of 1.8 hours. Assuming we are happy with the work, we will open up the other 19 courses with associated budget. We will also have additional work from 2016, so we are keen to build a strong relationship with a proofreader.
The courses are all written in Maritime English (British) and we have a brand style document available to ensure consistency of standards.
Experience of maritime terminology is desirable, not essential; proof reader will need to be aware that some terms that sound strange in normal English may be different in Maritime English.
