Stock chart plugin based yahoo finance for wordpress

Description of requirements/features: I need help with modification of an existing wordpress plugin. Im running a wordpress site with buddypress.

I now want to modify an existing plugin. The plugins works in the way that it queries the Yahoo finance API for current and historical stock data and passes the information back to the browser via an ajax call. It uses Fancybox for showing a popup window.

The plugin also displays historical price data in a chart. It uses Highcharts as the charting plugin. The popup displays the current quote and a 1 yr historical price chart for the stock.

What i need is to modify this plugin. Right now it is set to only get info for US stocks. I need modification so that i can use it for Swedish stocks. Yahoo API already offers searching for swedish stocks but this is not implemented in this plugin.


Right now the plugins installes widget and needs to be set in the admin. I need to ad a new setting so i dont need to ad this widget for every buddypress group in the backend. I want to be able to ad this widgets to the diffrent buddypress groups in the frontend settings during creation of a buddypress group.
