Experience Level: Entry
Estimated project duration: 1 - 6 months
Hello,
My name is Viktor and I am a representative of a research team from Sweden, Stockholm, which is engaged in research and the creation of a family tree service in Europe. We explore family ties and historical intertwining of relatives. Nowadays, we are working on launching the family tree research project in West Europe, especially in Spain. We are planning to prepare a database of documents and resources for the creation of a family tree for the majority of people who has a Spanish origin. At first, we are now focusing our attention on the Community of Madrid. Madrid municipality's Archives and Universities will be involved in this project. The main goal for us is to provide the opportunity for most Spanish families to get a service to create their family tree for many centuries back, because for all of us it is important to know our past and our ancestors.
At the moment, we are looking for Spanish-English and English-Spanish translators to accompany our project. Our new team member should be originally from Spain and based in Madrid municipality, because we need a person, who can join us during our project trips in Madrid.
Basic requirements:
- Mother tongue is Spanish;
- Fluent English;
- Your advantage will be if you are the interpreter certificate holder;
- Spanish origin;
- Based in the Community of Madrid;
- Flexible, sometimes working hours will be very intense, the payment will be hourly;
- An enthusiastic, kind person who is ready to join an interesting ambitious team.
We are looking forward to you and your application, all additional details will be discussed in the process! :)
Best regards,
Viktor Bergman
