Experience Level: Entry
The Media Coordinator is an entry-level position within the Paid Social Media practice. As a Media Coordinator you will be trained in the various tools and the process we utilize for planning and buying paid social media. You will help with executing high profile social media campaigns on networks such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and more. In addition, you will gain a thorough understanding of the different roles in the agency, how each role contributes to our end product, and begin engaging with the social media community.
Responsibilities:
Media Skills
Demonstrates an increased basic understanding of paid social media campaign management, including the planning and buying process throughout the training period
Demonstrates interest in maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the digital and social media marketplace and its evolution
Comprehends social media tools’ purpose and is able to master their use with appropriate training
Develops a sound understanding of the technical elements of managing paid social media, including key pieces of basic tag code, PMD technology, and specifications document requirements/terminology
Demonstrates a comprehension of the financial practices, audit requirements and accounting principles related to placing media on behalf of clients
Ability to work in a team environment and self starter.
Additional Skils
Ability to use WordPress, Google Docs and HooteSuite
Writing and proofing web content
