Hi
I run a PHP/MYSQL fantasy soccer league in the UK among friends and need some alteration made to my PHP/ MYSQL to add a new dimension to the game.
My mysql version is 4.1.22-standard. At the moment fantasy team managers pick 11 players on a Flash soccer pitch and submit their team to the database which calculates the weekly points each player scores and builds a standings table through Smarty php and .tpl files. It all works fine.
But I've found a way to get the flash pitch to handle a squad system - 18 players for each manager (11 first team and 7 reserves). This way managers can drag and drop reserve players into the first 11 places on the pitch (also the first 11 that appear in the database), save to the database and that is their team for the weekend.
The trouble is that the database and PHP/TPL will, as it is now, obviously build the standings using the weekly scores from all 16 players. I want the standings built from just the first 11 players listed in each team every week (the first 11 that appear in the manager's team on the database for any given week).
To give you an idea of what it looks like I would need this table to show weekly points and totals from just the first 11 players in each team each week.

And the code that produces each individal manager's team page would need altering too. I would want the first 11 players shown in the table below the Flash pitch (now headed Current Team Statistics) to be in a table headed "First Team" with the total weekly score shown on the page being calculated from just those players.
Below that, there would be a table with the 7 reserves for that week in it (headed On The Bench) showing the figures you can see in the two columns to the right, but not adding their weekly score to the team's weekly total or the standings for that week. I still want the weekly scores to show for the reserves so that the managers can see what points they might have had if they'd put these players in their team for that weekend. So I reckon the part of the script that produces these figures need not be touched

The Transferred out players involves another part of the script that need not be touched - it refers to new players brought into the squad during the season.
As I have said I have rebuilt the Flash files that managers use to send their teams in every week, using different players from their squad for the first 11 listed if they want, and it works fine. They appear in the right order in the database.
The script I use to run this fantasy league cost me £150. I run it among friends and do not make a profit from it - so obviously I want to do this as cheaply as possible and have the feeling that the changes to the files I have attached might not take that long.
I have been given absolutely staggering quotes from a few freelancers on other sites ( I do know a bit about basic PHP and have built quite a few HTML sites for people).
So I'm looking for a reasonable charge here. If it's going to cost too much I won't bother and will just run with the normal league again next season - but it would be good to get an honest quote for a change so I know where I stand. I picked you out because you seem, from your history, that you would do that.
Hope you can help. I haven't uploaded the relevant php and tpl files because it says they will be "publicly available on the site", which seems a bit silly to me - I don't want everyone on the site to see my stuff.
