Create a separate module - Bulletin: Push urgent messages to CRM users w/ Security Options. The Bulletin (a pushed notification or message) is saved in an archive to be viewed or resent later. Only an admin may delete a sent bulletin. Only designated users may send or receive bulletins.
Create a push mechanism to deliver urgent message to users via notification or other. It should take the focus of the screen until the message is acknowledged. If using the standard notification area of CRM, it must be adjusted: It must be bold and large with the ability to scroll for larger messages.
1. Place this module under Collaboration at the top of CRM.
2. Module should check for and push new bulletins frequently.
3. We should be able to easily select from a list of active CRM users. Then Compose and Send a Bulletin.
4. The notification must push to their active screen (or push on refresh).
5. Users have to choose an option for any incoming Bulletin. They must select to proceed. Acknowledge, Read Later or Reply.
6. Acknowledge - User has seen the message. This is marked on the archived bulletin
7. Read Later - push this bulletin again after 30 minutes. Security option for setting time.
8. Reply button - Open external email client (MS Outlook). Populate message text. Default 'to field' to the Bulletin sender's email.
9. Admin should be able to duplicate a bulletin and resend it to selected user(s) as a new bulletin. If a correction must be made, a new bulletin will be issued. We do not want to fetch replies to a bulletin into the module.
10. Admins should find a security section to designate who can receive bulletins and who can send bulletins. Each user with 2 checkmarks Create and Receive.
11. Admins should find a security field for us to designate the 'Read Later' interval (in minutes) so we can change this as needed? Set to 30 by default.
12. When looking at a sent message in the Bulletin module we should see a list of who has Read or Unread the message.
