Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
I need a light windows app (with backward win-xp and win-7 32 bit compatibility) that will do the following:
1) Load a batch list of video files (in txt format with full path to the file e.g. C:\files\file.mp4, if path not provided, then defaulting to the installation folder, the batch file might contain tens or hundreds of media video files to be analyzed)
2) analyze the video files, one by one, for exact length and other attributes (if possible and if not too complicated, especially data{video} bitrate, frame rate, resolution, audio bit rate
3) write output batch file (tab delimited, can be simple txt format) that contains respective video file name and the corresponding exact video length of the video file (in milliseconds, respectively frames converted to milliseconds, e.g. 1:02:07::240 which would be 1 hour 2 minutes 7 seconds 240 milliseconds. The millisecond part is important, and can be either direct length in milliseconds or converted to milliseconds from frame expression (e.g. 6 frames on 24 frames per second video would be 240 milliseconds). I need the length written in milliseconds not in frames.
Containers that the application must be able to analyze a) .mp4 - pure mpeg4 and h264/avc; b) .mpg/vob - mpeg2; c) .mkv - h264/avc; d) .avi - microsoft avi, xvid/divx mpeg4, h264 avi
Look for a sample: winnidows - http://www.winnydows.com/ analyzes media file, one by one (if you do not have any video media file, download this one https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/70557709/Capellan%20Electro%20Aire.mp4 and drop it into winnydows, then right click and select Show Media Information
I need exact length of a video file to millisecond (this is the main reason for the project), each additional information is a benefit and plus for the coder's offer.
Windows 7 does display media file length, but only to the second. I need more precise length measurement, to the millisecond. Windows 7 also shows media file info such as video/data bitrate, frame rate, resolution and audio bitrate. I assume (maybe incorrectly) that it should not be that difficult to pull this information from the media file.
Please post your bids. Maximum budget US$200. Optimal budget under US$150
