Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
I have an existing project that uses node for its end point communication. Current dependencies are express and gyp.
The task:
1) Implement very simple command line.
This can be based on your favourite framework eg. commander etc. The CLI will consist of 4 simple commands that will work with native functions that we will implement.
2) Packaging solution.
I need a clean method for distributing software. Ideally we'll end up with a self contained executable, but we can discuss packaging methods. I am not familiar with nodeJS packaging methods.
Experience required:
* Nodejs and npm (intermediate/expert)
* Experience deploying node apps on Debian/Ubuntu Linux (intermediate/expert)
* Experience with git (basic) - please don't apply if you can't commit your work using git...
In my impression this should be a very simple task for the right person :-)
Any questions please ask!
