Description
Experience Level: Expert
Estimated project duration: 1 - 2 weeks
We are an exciting wearable tech company - www.visijax.com - with a new generation of cycle jackets with built in LEDs front and back, and motion-sensing, self cancelling, indicator lights built into the sleeves. They have been featured on the Gadget show and BBC Click. You can see the short BBC Click video here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=APkdVAlmoaQ . Our first generation jackets were sold on Amazon and gained a 4.6 out of 5 customer satisfaction rating.
We are now bringing an improved second generation product line to market - two styles, three colours, at RRPs very competitive to the leading mass market cycle brands. We are planning to sell both through retail, and from our web site (a transactional version/revamp of which will shortly go live).
The jackets make a big difference to cycle safety - hence our strapline - "Cyclewear to be seen in".
We are going to need a product video showcasing our new, expanded range of products – perhaps 2 minutes long.
Please quote on basis that final structure not materially different from below, although we welcome your creative suggestions.
Location
Cambridge or central London
Featuring
The 2 jacket styles (each of two colours) and a rechargeable LED sports belt (4 colours)
To Be Used
• On web site product pages
• On social media
Objectives
1. To highlight the features of each product
2. To explain the differences between the two product styles
3. To demonstrate the increased visibility of a cyclist wearing our jacket compared to a cyclist not wearing one
Video Contents
1. Intro – “the world’s first cycle jacket with built in turn signal indicators”. Following the launch of the original jackets in 2012, we have now launched our second generation of jackets – upgraded the technology, introduced USB recharging, and now offer a range of styles, colours and pricepoints.
2. Video of a cyclist using the jacket on the road – in both daylight, dusk and night conditions – perhaps 10 seconds of each
3. Shots both cyclist from front, side and back
4. Shots of cyclist cycling alongside another cyclist wearing no jacket – to compare the impact of the jacket
5. Shots of cyclist wearing belt alongside another cyclist wearing no belt
6. Close up of each the features of each of the products – with a voiceover explaining the feature
7. What they say about us – short clips taken from BBC Click and Gadget Show reviews
8. Short text quotes from reviewers “the best thing since sliced bread etc”.
What Will You Have To Do?
• Provide whatever camera and lighting equipment you think necessary
• Shoot the video (we will provide jackets, cycles and cyclists) – half day?
• Record the voice over (we can provide the voice)
• Do the editing
• Add the short text quotes – we will provide 3-4
We are currently assuming no music
Timing (earlier if possible)
To be shot early second week of September
First edit for review, 15th September.
Final version, by 19th September.
Cost
Please quote asap.
