We are a growing electrical contractors based in Rye, East Sussex. We have been established since 2001, and with a customer base of over 500 companies we produce a large amount of paperwork.
We are looking to grow our business by over 200% in 2010, and a key part of this is consolidating and organising our back office systems so as to make accessing information easier, and reduce paperwork within our office. As a company we currently have a new website under development and a custom built CRM system in the pipeline for the company to automate a large amount of the enquiry/job related paperwork, however we now need a more reliable way of accessing our information.
Our office in Rye has a small IT network with windows 2003SBS and 6 workstations, 2 laptops. Keeping information current and syncronised is starting to become a problem, therefore we are looking to invest in a new Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server within the business, which will involve setting up and customising the server, and loading all of our customer and business files on to the portal server.
An information systems schematic can be provided and a copy of SharePoint Designer Academic will be provided to the applicant, along with any other software necessary. The system will need to make customer files and a group diary (linked to outlook) available to engineers, management files and customer files and diary available to office staff.
Outlook web access should also be made available to engineers/ Ideally candidate will be able to work onsite, hours to suit. Proposals and costs to be submitted please.
