Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Description of support work: We have a newly setup FTP server which we want to use so out clients can upload data - ProFTP is setup and running and we have also enabled TLS. SSL cert is configured and installed.
We are having an issue connecting over passive connections which needs resolved - we can connect to the server but cannot do any directory listings (this is likely an IPTables issue).
TLS is vital so there should be no way of anyone connecting insecurely.
Additionally, we want the ability to add FTP users and only allow those users to upload content to their directory and nothing else. For example, we have a user called bob - bob should be able to send files to /bob but not see any files in /bob nor any other directory nor should bob be able to delete or download anything in any directory. Next user called fred should only be able to upload to /fred and not be able to see any files, delete and so on.
We, as admin, should however be able to view all files in all directories and download/delete etc
Server is running Centos 6.9 and ProFTP is version 1.3.3g
