Description
Experience Level: Expert
Estimated project duration: 1 day or less
General information for the website: It is an informational-style website for a hardwood flooring brand
Kind of development: Customization of existing website
Description of every page/module: The page that will be worked on is the contact page of our website:
oakandbroad.com/contact
Description of requirements/features: Here's the website:
oakandbroad.com
And here's the contact page:
http://oakandbroad.com/contact/
I want to track three things in Google Analytics:
1) When a site visitor from any source makes a form submission
2) When a site visitor from Pinterest makes a form submission
3) When a site visitor from another social platform I can't specify here due to PPH requirements makes a form submission
As far as I understand, this requires putting some javascript code from both social sites on our site, then putting some additional tracker codes to track this event, and (somehow) sending that info to Analytics. I don't exactly care what the method is, but the end result I want is to be able to login to Analytics and see total form submissions, then what # or % of those submissions were from the above sources.
Make sense?
Extra notes: Generic submissions will be ignored. Just saving you time. I need at least a basic proposal of what will be done. Thanks.
