Description

Experience Level: Intermediate
This is a server configuration task. We have our main site running on a dedicated server, this server is Windows 2003 Server running IIS 6.0 and PHP 5.2.6 and MSSql Server, slightly strange setup but there are reasons. This config is required to remain as is as otherwise it\'ll break our live site. MySQL is also already on the box.

We wish to install some software on the same server which requires Apache, mySQL and PHP.

I\'ve installed Apache on windows, configure the PHP and this is working, and mySQL extension all good.

So I have Apache on port 8080 and IIS running on 80 (default) now our core site goes to wwwCoreSite.com on IIS which must remain lke this, thugh we have a new site viewable via www.NewSite.com:8080/

This may be wrong but I\'m using IIS redirect to push dns to the 8080 url, though once there I wish to hide the port numbers.

This job is for someone who can setup our configuration so as port numbers are not visible in the url. I\'d like someone to do this with me watching so as I know how it\'s done for future reference, so either I can travel to you or travel to me, server is accessed via remote desktop.
