Description
Experience Level: Entry
We have a very large e-commerce site with many hundreds of thousands of products. Many with a lot in common are related and therefore share very similar detail and description. Certainly the same information packed navigation route will need to be followed to any specific product page in a given category.
We believe it is impossible to meet Google's requirements without diluting, possibly ruining the consumer/user's experience.
So how do we get information to the human user/buyer and avoid traps like duplicate content, appearing to spam etc. etc.? Which we are definitely not.
You should know that we have all the SEO software that you have and we have been 'etailing the same products for 15 years.
We are not after that same old report, this is a call for consultation, opinion, discussion and endorsement or rejection of our strategy.
Our strategy is radical, pointed but squeaky clean and respects all SEO rules, terms and conditions without compromising the human users' needs and aspirations.
In fact we are following Google's guidelines and culture to the letter.
If you win the job, you get full details of the plan, its detailed on a single A5 sheet, 3 simple actions with qualification and modus operandi.
We are going to give 20 SEO 'experts' the opportunity to audit our strategy, add your approval to others (or be the first to disapprove) and invite you to add your suggestions and ideas and provide your do's-and-don'ts to the plan. We think its solid and will work, but are we missing something?
We reckon the diligent will give this 30-60 minutes work, however the real 'long-tooths' will knock it off in 10 minutes.
So tell me, why should we give you the job?
