Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
I need to find a seamstress who can work with me on a small batch of womens Ponchos.
I am looking to work with people in Asia where the cost of manufacturing is considerably lower than that of the UK (or Europe). So please only people who are from Asia or if you can compete with the price offered.
I can get a professional pattern made up and send to you, ideally you would be able to source good quality wool or 100% brished cotton (to emulate wool) and add this into your costing.
You must be able to manufacture to a high retail standard, sewing machine and overlocker a must.
Stage 1. Receive PDF pattern
Stage 2. Produce a working sample using a cheaper material.
Stage 3. Manufacture 12 pieces initially, which will increase to a further 25 once I know I have a viable product.
You should be able to show me examples of your work in pictures.
I am open to both small factories and independent self-employed.
Looking to get going as soon as possible.
The picture I have added into this job is just an example of what I am after (not the actual piece).
I have a an end retail price of £25. This is not HIGH FASHION. I need to work with smaller studios or anyone with access to produce quality products.
The £150 is broken down as follows:
£8.50 per item x 12 = £102.
£25 to prepare the pattern from PDF.
Please email if you can help or have any questions.
