Hello,
Looking for someone to help me with a project I am interested in creating.
It involves analysing .ts (MPEG Transport Streams) via a URL and creating a playlist based on the analysis.
Script can use existing software where appropriate to perform the analysis - but bidder would need to identify these tools.
1 - Download a .M3U playlist from a specified URL:
e.g. http://282.354.468.428:8080/get.php?username=YourName&password=YourPW&type=m3u&output=ts
Parse each stream contained within downloaded M3U
e.g. of 1 stream:
#EXTINF:-1 tvg-id="CHANNEL1.uk" tvg-name="CHANNEL1.uk" tvg-logo="http://logos.com/channel1logo.png" group-title="Entertainment",Channel One
http://282.354.468.428:8080/live/username/password/12345.ts
Analyse each .ts stream via unique URL
e.g. http://282.354.468.428:8080/live/username/password/12345.ts
Record details against each stream:
Stream Online? (Y/N)
Stream Resolution width (XXXX Pixels)
Stream Resolution height (XXXX Pixels)
Bitrate bitrate (XXXX KB/S)
Note: The source .M3U will contain multiple streams with the same stream channel title (e.g. "Channel One")
Create a new .M3U playlist:
Remove all streams where Stream Online is N
Create 1 stream per channel title (e.g. "BBC One") where the stream URL used reflects:
The stream with the highest Width / Height resolution
Where resolutions are identical in two streams, use the one with higher bitrate
Upload newly created .M3U playlist to a webserver, overwriting any existing file
Options
Remove all streams where Stream Resolution Width is less than 720 Pixels
Create 2/3/4 streams per channel title
Thanks
