Design details: Design Brief
• Counter to combine Coffee Station beside Bar
• Counter to incoperate Take Away Section at the front Area – this will be used for take away GF bakery with its separate display area
• Back Bar to have a more functional design - i.e shelving, display
• The coffee area and bar can be together and when making the coffee the barista needs to be able to view the door and the customer – take away and sit in service needs to be considered for best layout.
• The coffee area needs to be designed to hold t-pots, cups and take away requirements
• The counter will include a 2 display area for 2 types of Confectionary – Normanl and GF – the display area will be square with glass all around
• Behind the bar will include a smoothie station with small sink and hand wash sink
• Shelving is required for wine glasses and beer glasses, smoothie glasses, water glasses etc.
• Display area is required for wines and beers
• Equipment behind the counter includes a Bottle Cooler, Smoothie Machine, Freezer,
• Service from the pass needs to be considered as this area cant change position. Service form the pass needs to flow easily to the floor
Deliverables
The final design needs to be measured, with details to color, materials used, layout, ease of use and incorporate flow of restaurant.
