Description
These indices / rankings typically encompass all or a subset of the following diversity streams:
• Gender/women,
• people with disabilities (physical and mental/cognitive),
• people of different races (e.g. Black/African American, Asian) and ethnicities (e.g. Latina),
• people who are LGBT+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender),
• military veterans
• ex-offenders
• Age / workforce demographics
This piece of research is to identify and catalogue the indexes in use in North America (USA and Canada) and for each of them to identify
• The name the index
• Who owns or sponsors it
• Whether it appears to be a commercial index for which a fee needs to be paid, or whether it is an open one for which a submission fee, or a membership fee, is not needed
• The geographic or industry sector scope of the report
• Links to the most recent last three reports
• When the submission date is for inclusion in future reports
• The top ten companies in the report and/or in each category within the report if separated. If available in the report identify the headquarters locations of those top ten. If no ranking is provided then a link to where the list of companies is provided
• Which diversity stream aspects it covers (if specific), or whether it is a more general one, or if not clear
Examples of such indexes would be the Corporate Equality Index by the Human Rights Campaign for LGBT, or Canada's Best Diversity Employers.
There is likely to be a follow-on piece of work to gather more information.
If there are any clarifications on the scope of this research needed please contact me.
This job will need to be completed by Sunday 30th July.

Could you cancel this if you are not going to allocate this via PPH and we can then get our proposal credit back..?
Steven C.25 Jul 2017I have been awaiting proposal responses and intend selecting later today or tomorrow.
Francis E.25 Jul 2017That's great, however it should be obvious that most applicants apply in the first day or two Stephen. Those of us who have multiple clients see a deadline and try to schedule work according to that. However there's a lot less time now to complete this by 31st, and therefore it maybe polite to ask initial bidders if they now have the time to complete this.
Ditto when folk have gone to the trouble of writing a detailed, multi paragraph bid, sending a one line thanking them for their efforts would do no harm eh..? It might even keep them interested in the task at hand.
