Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
We are looking for a comedy script for an online viral short animation aimed at 15-30 age group - especially the student population.
It's for a Lymphoma charity and the purpose of the viral short is to create awareness in the 15-30 age group. It essentially needs to be funny and appealing to the target audience - not dwelling on the illness itself (which is very unpleasant and frankly scary).
To help make this target audience aware of the signs and symptoms of lymphoma, the Lymphoma Assoc have created a simple acronym: PITS -- Persistent lumps, Itching, Tiredness and Sweating.
The lumps can appear under the arms neck and groin. One idea we have for the animation is a pair of talking armpits. Taking inspiration for a viral ad by the FSA http://www.guardian.co.uk/media/video/2009/oct/23/fsa-healthy-eating-idents
We were thinking that the conversation could be linked loosely some symptoms but could just be about anything - the main aim is for this to be funny and appealing and if it focuses too much on the disease, it just won't work. There is lots of comedic opportunities with armpits.
