Description
Experience Level: Expert
Estimated project duration: Ongoing
Topic: Writing a bid for a non profit organisation
Tone: Formal/Professional
Outline & Structure: My name is Kelly Reid, I am the co-ordinator for The Crib youth charity based in London. We are looking for an experienced bid writer who will help us secure a big grant to help keep the charity operational.
The Crib has been working with young people for the last 14 years. Helping young people with who have been in many difficult situation from homelessness, abusive domestic violence , gang culture, relationships, raising educational standards of young people in schools and help young people realise their creative potential aspirations and dreams. The Crib has been recognised to doing great work in the community by the London mayor. The Crib has partners in North America and in Germany.
What we need is a strong bid that will help us secure funding for all the ideas and the long term projects we have, for salaries of experienced professional staff.
We want to also create a business model that will allow us to employ young people instead of just giving them opportunities to get qualifications but to actually have some paid work experience via a Crib business.
For more information please visit www.thecrib.org.uk
We would like to meet the person we appoint in person so we can talk and break down exactly what The Crib does. We feel a face to face meeting and presentation of what we can do will enable the writer to have a connection to The Crib which is what we want.
We need someone who knows funding streams that will be compatible for our organisation. we are looking for funding in the range of
£100,000- £750,000
Bonus will be paid for person who works with us for a successful bid.
Thanks
Kelly
