Description
Experience Level: Expert
Using a PIC 18F1220 process incoming data, and output numerical data to Port A & Port B preferably using C programming language. Units to Port A 0,1,2,3. Tens to Port B 0,2,3,5. Hundreds to Port B 6,7 (hundreds will not be more than 200). A timer adjustable between 100ms and 1000ms in steps of 100ms is needed to determine how often the data output is updated. Data received while the timer is active is ignored. Port A 4, to be low when receiving incoming data and high when no data received.
Baud rate 9600/115200
8 Data bits
1 stop bit
External 20Mhz crystal
Data will consist of different characters then 3 numbers in a row.
