I run a home support service called Censerv UK. We provide domestic and social support to those who require extra help at home. We cover the Birmingham, Sutton Coldfield and Solihull areas. Censerv is a small company which was launched in October 2016. We have slowly grown over the last year, and we are looking for further support so that the directors can focus on business development and marketing.
We currently have a Virtual PA who supports us (mainly Monday-Wednesday, although she does tend to help out throughout the week when required). She went on holiday from 4th February and will not be back until 28th Feb. We found it very difficult to cope without her, so we are looking for an additional PA who can share the workload and you can both cover each other in the event that one of you are absent.
We are only looking for approx. 30 minutes of help Monday - Sunday (some days to be worked by our existing PA and others to be worked by our new PA). However, some days can be quite quiet, and no help will be required at all, and other days can be quite busy, so we may need significantly more than the 30 minutes.
Tasks will include:
- managing the company inbox;
- dealing with new enquiries that come through the website, via telephone and via email;
- dealing with staff issues such as absences (finding cover for shifts and managing the staff calendar);
- conducting telephone assessments for new clients and placing them with a member of staff (the assessment will just require you to follow an online questionnaire);
- calling clients to take payment;
- calling clients to chase unpaid invoices; and
- other miscellaneous tasks as and when requested.
Of course we appreciate that many of the tasks mentioned above could take longer than the 30 minute per day mentioned earlier. We just like to use the 30 minutes as a guideline to help us to manage business expenses.
We are hoping that the two PAs can work in harmony and effectively deal with the day-to-day running of the business. I work full time during the week and so does the other Director (hence why we are unable to deal with the day-to-day running of the business, especially as things are starting to get busier).
