An experienced bookkeeper required on a part-time basis at our office in Egham, Surrey on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
Bookkeeper Main Duties:
- Managing a multi-currency (GBP/USD/EUR) purchase ledger (posting invoices, supplier reconciliations, FOB, foreign exchange)
- Managing the sales ledger (approving/posting invoices, customer statements, resolving queries, emails, phone)
- Managing all outward payments
- Bank/Credit Card Reconciliations and invoice factoring reconciliations
- Preparing/filing quarterly VAT returns
- Assisting with the preparation of the management accounts and YE with calculating/posting journal entries (accruals/prepayments/inventory valuations)
- Maintaining the asset registry
- Credit control
- Payroll
- Other adhoc reporting
Bookkeeper Necessary Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years bookkeeping experience
- Experience with import VAT/Duty (C79 VAT reconciliation) essential
- Invoice factoring experience essential
- Xero/Unleashed experience advantageous but not essential
- Intermediate Excel (pivot tables and vlookups)
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Efficient and organised work ethic and good management of own work load
- Excellent attitude
Salary: £8.00 to £10.00 /hour
