Description of support work: We are looking for an organisation that can provide out of hours telephone support during the hours of GMT 22:00 through 08:00 7 days a week.
***I am getting a lot of proposals from UK based individuals. Please note the above operating hours, this is from 10pm through to 8am 7 days a week. I am not looking for UK based companies unless they are already providing 24x7 support. I am looking for a call center or IT company based in Asia really.
A great deal of technological experience is not required as the agent will be tasked with waking our own on-call engineers. The organisation will be responsible for answer the phone in a professional manner, taking down accurate details and symptoms etc and then calling our on-call engineers to pass on the relevant information.
In addition to receiving important out of hours telephone calls the organisation will also be tasked with reading email based alerts and then in turn contacting our on-call engineers and making them aware of the alert. In this regard it would be useful if the organisation could determine the criticality of the alert so some technical experience would be beneficial.
