Description
Database management system (DBMS): Oracle
Kind of development: Customization of existing website
Description of requirements/features: Hi
We have a current website that sat on a Windows 2003 Server. The server's registry got corrupted and basically we had to move to another server.
We now have a new Windows 2008 server setup, the website has been setup within IIS but just needs connecting to its Oracle database.
We have the old hard drives caddied to the new server so all the files you will need will be accessible.
A new instance of Oracle has been installed on the new server, we just need the database transferring to the new server and setting up so the website can connect to it.
Full RDP access can be given.

Hello Neil,
Do you have the administrator credentials for the old Oracle database ?
Regards,
John RNeil H.16 Jun 2016Hi
I have the details from the connection string in the website. The website is a ASP.NET website and has a web.config file. It has the name of the DB and login credentials.
The Windows 2003 machine is not accessible but the 2 hard drives are if that makes sense.
Cheers
Neil.
