Description
Experience Level: Expert
Estimated project duration: less than 1 week
Design details: BRIEF:
I would like a graphic designer to design and produce 20 numerical figures in a similar style to those published in the Financial Times (FT.com). By figures I mean any form of: chart; table; graph; simple infographic which displays numerical data.
The content will need to be fictional and imagined by the freelancer (i.e. do not use real data, as the sources will need to be credited).
I have attached six examples of the type of output required.
To clarify, this project requires the freelancer to both come up with the fictional data and produce the images (I don’t have data I can give you). The figures will be displayed on a monitor (72dpi) and used to set exam questions.
SPECIFICATIONS:
1. The style of the images will be similar to the numerical figures published in the Financial Times (ft.com) whilst respecting their copyright.
2. The quality of graphics will be at least as clear, and display at least the equivalent level of attention to detail, as the example images attached.
3. The image format of the graphics will be supplied by the freelancer to me in either layered Adobe Photoshop format or Adobe Illustrator or format.
4. The images will have a width dimension of 600 pixels, and a height dimension can be anything between 300 pixels and 400 pixels.
5. The quantity of data included within each image will be broadly similar to that in the examples attached, i.e. there should not be hundreds of data points in a huge table, and similarly there should be more than just two or three data points. This is not a strict requirement; it is more a rough guide to help the freelancer get an idea of how much detail to include in each image.
6. All work must be original.
DEADLINE
Monday 9th June 2014 (with some flexibility)
Any questions, please ask.
Target audience: Professionals
Ideas for the visual style: ft.com
Preferred colors: Any colours
Where the design will be used: Web, online exams
Extra notes:
