Description
Accounting software: Xero
Description of support work: Hi,
I want to work with someone to help me build a spreadsheet to manipulate figures or stack up some options so I can choose the bets route forward.
I want to "play around with"...
PAYE
Pension contributions (from a company and from a person)
Dividend
Company Vehicle (P11D)
- All related to a persons package.
To work out the best way to structure a particular pay packet for the best result for an individual and a company.
In this instance I will only work with someone who is UK based and does this sort of exercise regularly so that they understand all aspects of it and can work quickly with it.
The total value of the whole package is under £50k so you have an idea of the whole scope.
I am happy to move forward quickly on this post as I want to get to some numbers by the end of the week.
Please start your proposal with your name, where you are from and how long your experience that in this particular field of accountancy and person salary/tax.
This is so I know you have read my post properly. If you do not I will have to remove it without reading, its the only way to help vet PPH proposals.
Regards

Most PPH practitioners are generalists Dan, if you want specific specialised Pensions advice an IFA with those skills would be the normal route..
Daniel H.06 Oct 2016Hi,
Thanks for your comment. I have used plenty of specialised people on PPH before, even an IFA once.
Is my post to niche? I'm just looking for someone who understands UK reg's regarding tax (company and person) so I can stack up some figures to work out a pay scheme. Its less about pensions and more about general PAYE and salary etc. Anyone who works in the accountancy field that deals a lot with PAYE etc I would imagine has more than enough experience and knowledge to help. ThanksFrancis E.06 Oct 2016The spreadsheet you request could be developed, the relevant rules and regulations could be pointed out. Almost no Accountants are regulated to advise on Pensions though. IFA's are an option to be considered Daniel. They are more decision making literate in most aspect of pensions, although they have had it fairly laid at their doorstep that they have sold too much of what they have been coerced into selling, often by the lure of the highest commission provided to them.
The best you could hope for here Daniel is a decision empowering excel model based on an understanding of your personal circumstances, and the rules etc outlined to you. From a reg point of view it's likely that you should I feel be required to make your own decision in this instance, albeit that opinion is based on an currently incomplete knowledge of specifics.
