Description
Description of requirements/features: Our website has been password protected by our webhotel, due to the fact that we have Joomla version 1.5.26. We must upgrade to Joomla 3.6 or higher.
As the developer of our site is no longer existing, we need help to upgrade to the newest version, without anything being lost. Most items/products etc. are in K2 module.
To be able to enter our website www.ramson.no Please use username: ramson.no and password: 445wvsfmpuu8
FYI - we are planning to create a new website in Wordpress in a while. Is it better to just move everything from Joomla to Wordpress now, and rather update Wordpress with our new website later on?
Time is of the essence here, as we need our website to be working ASAP. So please let us know the following in regards to what you can offer:
* Price and time to create backup, and upgrade from Joomla 1.5 to newest version, without anything being lost
* Price and time to move existing website over to a Wordpress version
We want a fixed price for this.

Hi,
Without accessing the website administration panel, there's no way to fully evaluate what's needed to upgrade the website to J3.6.
As a rule of thumb, no J.15 website have a direct path of upgrade to J.3.x.
You mention you were planning to have a new website built, I wonder, why in WordPress? have you seen Joomla latest versions? they are far superior to WordPress in every single category.
Without looking at your Joomla website administration panel, my advice is for you to have a new Joomla website built.
You have two options.
Choose a commercial template and tweak it.
or
Have a fully custom designed and developer Joomla website. Being a business, the custom website is naturally the best option, but it comes down to budget.
Let me know if you can share you website admin detail for a more detailed evaluation.
Regards,
Paulo
