Hi,
I am currently looking for a musician(s) to make a high quality lullaby instrumental for my baby music youtube channel: http://www.youtube.com/lullabybabyorg
I particularly like the sound of the music in the following video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vU0fYzuypXg and the music you produce must be of the same high standard (or better). I would also like to commission a collection of high quality piano music, playing lullabies, such as this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wm15rvkifPc
The music must include Brahms' Lullaby (Lullaby and Goodnight) as this is very popular. Other lullabies that you might like to include are as follows:
Brahms' Lullaby (Lullaby and Goodnight)
Hush Little Baby
Rock-a-bye Baby
Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star
Baa Baa Black Sheep
Swing Low Sweet Chariot
Danny Boy
All the Pretty Horses
Little Boy Blue
The Irish Lullaby
Row, Row, Row Your Boat
Sing a Song of Sixpence
Polly Put the Kettle On
Little Bo Peep
Mary, Mary, Quite Contrary
Incy Wincy Spider
Boys and Girls
Pop Goes the Weasel
Ten Green Bottles
Mary Had a Little Lamb
Frère Jacques
The Grand Old Duke of York
Heads, Shoulders, Knees and Toes
London Bridge Is Falling Down
The Wheels On the Bus
Hickory Dickory Dock
The music needs to be gentle and include real instruments as far as possible. Ideally it would include real acoustic guitar and gentle piano, similar to the music in the first clip: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vU0fYzuypXg Though piano and guitar will not necessarily feature in every song. Other instruments can also be used, and this would be wonderful. I am open for suggestions regarding what you could provide.
The final composition may consist of many different lullabies, or you may prefer to work with a smaller number of lullabies, but develop each melody more fully. All the music should be based upon recognisable melodies, either from the above list or others that are in the public domain.
If you feel this project is something you could do, please can you send me a message saying how much it would cost for ONE HOUR of audio. Please also include relevant samples of your work.
Based on previous work I have commissioned, my guide price would be £400 for an hour of music, but this is negotiable depending on the quality of what you are able to produce, and I would consider a larger budget if the cost can be justified.
I intend to leave this project open for a few weeks, to hopefully receive the maximum number of proposals. It is also possible that I will commission more than one musician, as I will be making many new videos in the coming months.
Thank you for your interest, and I look forward to hearing from you if you would like to work on this project.
Kind regards,
Tamsin
