Description
Experience Level: Expert
General information for the business: Our client is a service business
Kind of development: Customization of existing program
Description of requirements/functionality: We have a working Access Database with a lot of VBA codes and all are working with an Access Backend. We expect some error handling after migration from Access Backend to SQL Server. We have so far created all the tables, structures etc in SQL Backend and we just need to migrate the current data from Access to SQL Backend.
Naturally, when migrating from Access Database some codes used in the VBA might prodcue errors. However, 99.99% of all codes have already been modified to match the requirements of SQL Server but you never know until fully tested.
What we need is as follows:
1. An expert and experienced VBA developer with good knowledge of working with SQL and with previous experience in migrating from Access to SQL and trouble shooting
2. Excellent knowledge of VBA and working
3. Available according to UK time
4. Willing to work via teamviewer and to fix any errors that might come following the migration
5. Add some small 4 to 5 new functions and then fully test the database after migration
Please note that one of our Project Managers will be available to guide you through the process and help you understand that Database.
Specific technologies required: vba, access, sql
OS requirements: Windows
