I need to create a custom enrollement form in Microsoft Access. This is for use by a radio station to have people sign up for its birthday club and other contests. I have attempted to do this myself, however there are a few issues you can see in the attached file:
1.) The first DATE field at the top of the form is OK. But the DATE of BIRTH field half way down the form--when you click on the calendar and select a date, it shows the current month and the current year. If someone's birth date, for example, is December 10th, 1955, how do they enter that using the calendar that shows the current month of August, 2017? Maybe a drop down list to select January, February, etc...with another drop down next to that with the days, 1, 2, 3, etc, followed by another drop down list next to that with the years, 2017, 2016, 2015...to 1927.
2.) The form shows asterisks next to the required fields, but when you fill out the form and click submit, an error message pops up saying "Can't go the specific record". When you click the SUBMIT button, the data entered should be saved to the database and then the form should clear so the next person can fill it in.
THANK YOU!
