Description
Experience Level: Expert
Background
We are doing some marketing communication planning work for St Albans council and Leisure Connections sports centres and theatres. It involves:
- Analysing their current marketing for areas of improvement
- Analysing their population via existing market segmentation to help identify audiences
- Writing their marketing strategy for the coming year
- Writing implementation plans for the marketing work
- Training them in implementing this marketing
- Building tools to help them implement this marketing
We have already got access to all the existing research we need, including:
- Mystery shopping
- User surveys
- Non-user surveys
- Segmentation (for sport and arts)
The centres are already good at converting leads to members, but are less good at collecting leads and running ongoing marketing to keep their leads warm. We therefore need to develop plans which emphasise how they can get more leads and build their marketing lists.
Objective
I need someone to:
- Analyse the existing research to pull out relevant information for the SWOT analysis
- Make recommendations for target audience based on the segmentation and the SWOT analysis
- Make recommendations for appropriate media based on the target audience chosen. Some support for this is available in the marketing communication plans, but more suggestions will be required.
- Make ongoing revisions to the marketing communication plans based on feedback from client
Timing
I need someone who can turn round a draft plan with 4-5 days.
Please send details of previous experience you have in marketing communication planning. Any work in sport or with local councils is a plus, but not essential by any means.
