Hi

Re: Marketing Work

I have two health and beauty salons in London. I need to market our services to local community to increase brand awareness and enquiries in order to increase salon t/o.

At the moment I do following marketing

1. Web Google optimisation
2. Leaflet distribution 20 k every 6 weeks within 1 mile radius
3. Local free newspaper and magazine advertising with a 50% discount for new clients
4. Local free newspaper and magazine advertorials every month to educate the public with our treatments
5. PR work inviting journalists for free treatments
6. PR work inviting celebrities for free treatments
7. U-tube marketing (with no direct success)
8. Blog, Twitter, Face book (with no direct success)
9. Office promotions by visiting local offices offering free lunch time massages and offering discounts to visit the salons
10. Yellow pages advertising

I am looking for you to do the following projects to add to our marketing strategy

1. Do a quarterly newsletter
2. Do the same newsletter in the website
3. Do an open day every 6 months per each salon
4. Set up stalls in ever local school to offer massages to raise funds for schools
5. Do the same as above with local charity events
6. Set up stalls both indoor and out door shopping centres, markets, summer fairs or at any other local events for exposure and distribute leaflets
7. Walkers to walk around local busy locations with an illuminated advertising board and distributing promotional literature
8. Get existing clients to introduce new clients to the salon
9. Prepare a Promotional Gift Voucher with 5 different treatments to sell at a discount price (say 80% off) to encourage new clients to visit the salon
10. Offer free onsite massages to people who pass the shop at the salon reception, then give a discount voucher to encourage them to invite to the salon
11. A board and other promotional displays at shop window to stimulates people who passes by
12. Any other cost effective marketing methods

We already have developed an analytical tool to measure all our marketing activities and some of the ones we do are not very successful as the cost per enquiry is too high. We like you to have a look at them and advise us, how to proceed more effectively

Our monthly marketing budget is about £60k pa including your charges

We have about 15 beauty therapists and 3 receptionists who could take part in carrying out mini projects, and we want you to meet up with them and train them to show what they have to do

We are located in Fulham and Hammersmith, London
