You want unusual, here it is! My wife and I, along with another professional musician, run two children\'s choirs based in a church in the centre of Bournemouth. There are two groups, one for boys and one for girls, in both cases from ages 6 to about 16ish.

Members get paid a small pocket-money salary by the church. We provide free breakfast on duty Sundays (which is usually every other week) and a cooked meal before our midweek meeting which is on Wednesdays during termtime. There is an annual residential trip for about 5 days or so.

You would think we have people beating a path to our door, but it\'s a real struggle. We are musicians, and not necessarily geared up to efficiently getting the message across to children and parents.

The group has been running since about 1870, making it the oldest after-school club in Bournemouth. Unfortunately between 2002 and 2008 there was a lull in recruitment, so we lack a core/senior membership to \'spread the word\'.

This isn\'t going to be a get-rich-quick job because we don\'t have megabucks behind us, but if you think you have the solution to our woes please get in touch!
