Description
Experience Level: Expert
Estimated project duration: less than 1 week
Data to include: market size estimate, trends, SWOT analysis, competition, regulation, pricing strategy guidelines
Extra notes: We are interested in launching a new boutique brand of cosmetics for Muslim women. Our range of skincare products contain no alcohol and are not derived from animals. These are organic, environmentally friendly products based on snail slime. The secretion of the snail has a double function when applied to human skin: on one hand it stimulates the formation of collagen, elastin and dermal components that repair the signs of ageing and, second, it minimises the damage generated by free radicals that are responsible for premature skin ageing. All products are manufactured in the European Union.
Our initial target market is the UK. Once the product line has been proven here, we will also begin trading in the Middle East, Central Asia and Asia Pacific.
Initial trade will be based exclusively on direct on-line sales. At a later stage, we may consider various partnerships with distributors and re-sellers.
Your work on this project will consist of two main parts:
1) You will need to perform initial market research and produce a set of guidelines and recommendations for the brand.
2) You will also research Halal certification for our products and advise on the process.
In your bid, please describe any relevant experience that you have in this area and why you would be a good fit not only for this gig, but also to potentially join our team as a consultant / adviser going forward.
