Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Estimated project duration: 3 - 4 weeks
We are looking for a seamstress / machinist / sewer to make high quality dog beds for us. We are an expanding business and if you meet our high standards, there's potentially lots more work for you.
The Dog Beds are approximately 104cm by 68cm (41" by 27") and are made from a top layer of fleece and bottom layer of cotton drill. The base has three non-slip strips running across. There is a full length zip along one width. There isn't any filling as that's supplied by our end-customers.
We'll supply the fleece, cotton drill, zip and non-slip material for you to cut and make the dog beds from. To help with this we'll provide you with a completed dog bed as an example.
For this job there is one fabric design. If we are delighted with your work we will ask for more.
We'll pay a one-off for all 20 dog beds. We'll also pay for you to post/courier the completed dog beds (and our sample) to us using a tracked/signed for delivery/courier. There's no need to quote for delivery at this stage, just the CMT. We'll post all the materials to you.
We've attached some photos, which shows the completed dog beds. You can also see more examples on our website along with our other products (milgicoats.co.uk).
Initially you will need to make ONE dog bed and return that to us so we can check the quality and ensure it meets our high standard. If we are happy then we'll ask you to make the remaining 19.
We would like all 20 dog beds to be completed and returned to us within September 2016.
Please give us your best estimate as to when you think you'll have completed, firstly the single dog bed to demonstrate that you meet our standards, and secondly the remaining 19.
Finally, we are only looking for UK based.
Thank you for your interest.
