Description
Experience Level: Expert
Need to have a Page of Excel calculations put onto a website so that possible customers can assess if the technical product is suitable for them. There are just 15 different numbers to be added up. The total amount (of electrical current) which is the sum of the 15 numbers tells the customer if the product will work for them.
At the top of the page there will be 3 initial "buttons "to press . One button will ask them how many of items of entry 1 and 2 in the addition column they will use. Another button will ask them to enter the "minimum operating temperature" the unit will be used at. The third button the country it will be use in..
Since the first two numbers (as above) have been accounted for there are 13 numbers left. 3 of the remaining numbers/entries are classified as" other" The customer can put any appropriate numbers into these three boxes.
In the remaining ten boxes ---these are labelled with things I know he will use with the product.. Each box will have a name and up to 3 buttons to press by the side of each box. whichever box button he presses it will enter a different given number in to the box. (all these possible numbers I will givel you) For instance lets say there were two buttons by the side of one of the boxes. If you pressed one box it would enter 250 Milliamp into the box. If you pressed the other it would enter 450 milliamp into the box.
When all the boxes are filled in they get a total. Another total appears next to it which is a percentage of the first total.
Depending on what they did with the "minimum operating temperature button" at the start then there will be two more totals below the first two totals which give the modified totals when unit is operated at low temperature..
Although I have done the calcs in Excel I want something a bit "prettier" to the eye than Excel.
Prior to this calculation there will be 5 pages of text for them to read (or skip) and after the calculation two pages about interpreting the results. By the way the country of use button is not for languages etc . It is to remind them about the mains supply voltage they will be operating it on. I do not want any auto translate of languages or something like that because of certainty problems arising with the translation of technical words. There might be a faint possibility of some specialist firms wanting to advertise on the page. Hence I would like to put some specific product adverts on the page if this demand did occur.
