Cello Health Insight is a market research company specialised in the healthcare sector and we are currently looking for Social Media Analysts to help us on a project-to-project basis. We are looking for freelancers who speak an additional language as we would ask you to search through social media in the respective country.
Purpose of Role
▪ To provide data analysis and insights to core Cello Health Logic team
Core Job Responsibilities
▪ To provide data analysis and insights to the core Cello Health Logic team
- To provide input into the research design, translating and localising core search string (i.e. list of key search terms), conducting appropriate desk research and/or applying relevant knowledge to ensure specific market nuances are accounted for
- To undertake comprehensive analysis of local markets data – gather data from social media data collection tools, in order to perform the following tasks:
Minimum requirement:
1. Process the data – thoroughly read, understand and code up a large number of social media posts, in line with an established codeframe, coding against set objectives as well as capturing new codes where relevant
Additional level:
2. Interpret the data to begin to formulate meaningful insights in collaboration with core Cello Health Logic team – provide summary of key themes and thoughts, in line with client objectives
- Ensuring tasks are completed to agreed timelines
- To attend (either via TC or in-person) project brainstorm with core Cello Health Logic team, actively contributing and acting as the ‘voice’ of the market
Key Capabilities
▪ ‘Tech savy’ – coordinating and integrating multiple social media tools in order to extract relevant data
▪ Have a sound ability to understand, interpret and empathise with people, based on social media posts and related data – including text / image / video and bio based data
▪ Enthusiasm and creativity
▪ Prioritisation, multi-tasking, organisation, with ability to balance their workload
▪ Self-starter, with sense of responsibility and ownership
▪ Open to feedback and continual learning
Recruitment Criteria
▪ Fluent (or native) speaking in English and at least one other language
▪ Prior experience in one or more of the following fields:
- Medical / medical science / healthcare
- Linguistics / cultural studies / semiotics
- Social media listening / insight generation
▪ Demonstrates enthusiasm and creativity
▪ Demonstrates data-analysis, synthesis, interpretation and problem solving skills
▪ Demonstrates strong communication skills and interpersonal skills
▪ Computer proficient: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel
Advantageous Criteria – the following is ideal, but not essential:
▪ Previous experience using social media listening / analytics platforms
▪ Previous experience with advanced analytics and/or data visualisation packages (e.g. R, Tableau)
