Description

Experience Level: Intermediate
I have an ex-client that has used a logo I created to gain substantial earnings. I have created this logo whilst not in any contract, neither verbal or written, as he has always refused to grant me a contract to confirm ownership of the copy-write and Ip rights.Â’

They have allowed sponsors of this event in London to use the logo to promote themselves which includes one of the leading UK mens magazines print and websites and possibly some leading TV production companies.

Â’ I believe that I am in a strong position on ownership of this logo under section 11.1 of the copyright design and patents act 1988 and I am looking for a solicitor who would be initially be willing to look at the facts before deciding to move forward with a claim.

The logo was originally designed in 2007 and just this year (2009) a sum of £150,000 - £180,000 was earned by this client from my logo and other marketing material.

If this opportunity appeals to you please make contact to clarify my position with any questions. I can confirm 100% that this client does not have a contract with me with regard to ownership of IP and copy-write.
