Could you sell a deep freeze in the Arctic or a heater in the Middle East?
I operate in a very saturated market with lots of small players (to be fair, much like me) working on niche markets and getting business through word of mouth.

I want to be a larger player.

To do this I would like you to use your gut instinct, marketing nonce, and considerable B2B sales knowledge to identify, make contact with, qualify and set appointments with prospective new clients.

Now for the difficult bit... what you will be calling regarding:

We offer IT support, Hardware sales/installation
Virtual IT manager/CIO
Web design, hosting
Blogging/news, twitter, social media updates
Offsite backup

Background stuff:

We have some well established clients on board already who are amenable to giving references and case studies.
I have been in the industry for 15 years, self employed for 8.
For IT services we cover the Thames Valley (Reading to Heathrow) and West London, for Web design I will travel further.

Your bid should outline your approach to lead generation, typical call volume and follow up methods etc. You should also outline your charging structures.

Needless to say (I hope!) you should have an excellent telephone manner (a fluent English speaker, with no or minor UK/European accent) and suitable environment to conduct calls from (quiet, clear phone line).
