Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
INTRO:
I need help re-designing my NicoAustinTherapies.com website. It's dated, and doesn't
actually DO anything. I'm am looking to begin with \"Phase 1 - The front end\" to convert
visitors to clients (prospects, reaches ...bookings).
It would help if you are familar with \"Call to Action (book ref)\" style of structurings
pages and converting visitors with funnel-like stages to direct visitors into contacting us
for info (reaching).
The site has to encurage bookings and lead people to contact us. It has to \"really\" stand
out, look VERY modern and put us in a class above all the other hippy-dippy therapy sites
that are out there.
I hope the info below will give you a clearer picture. I would even accept themed
templates with the page sections named for my later content. ...like a colourd-in wire
frame with names in boxes!
PS - I've uploaded some of the lastest poster promo we've done. There have been theme-branded promos done so it is important to us to establish and/or keep branding.
ABOUT OUR BUSINESS:
Nico Austin Therapies is a remedial therapy practice. We're not just about calm, relaxing
we're mainly about \"remedial\" therapies. It's about fixing people. We do a LOT of deep
tissue work with aromatherapy as well as reflexology. We want our look to be clinical and
stand apart from other flaky therapy businesses. So we're leaning more towards
medical/physiotherapy side.
SITE OVERVIEW:
- Please see the attached site structure .gif
- I have worked out my site structure with an SEO collegue to create a wide site so there
are several templates I need created.
- I can do my own coding (css/xhtml) if it cuts costs (I'm building my own CMS .net app so
I just need creative design help with the \"theme\" & \"design templates\" for the areas of the
site.)
SITE DETAILS:
- Light, Lite, spacious
- use CSS for style & xhtml for the data/content
- be 1024 wide (modern)
- similar color theme (or very slightly bluer, or your professional opinion)
- Not affraid of using pictures (use place holders describing pictures is fine)
- Large image ad spaces
- *Zoom in on the site structure to see the different areas of the site.
I can put together a more detailed document about the sections of the site if needed.
try to include details about design & functionality wherever I can, if it would help.
TRUST & AUTHENTICATION (to convey trust and reputation):
- I have an 0800 number I would like to be prominent.
- browser Icons for the major browsers.
- W3c standards
- I have Icons for \"authenticating my site/business\"
- I have Icons/crests for associations we belong to...
SITES, STYLES, IDEAS I'M LEANING TOWARDS:
- http://headscape.co.uk/ (spacious, modern and nice use of hidden content with CSS and use
of rotating large image with transitions)
- http://www.wiltshirefarmfoods.com/ (designed by headscape)
- http://w3-markup.com/examples/digilink.net/home (nice use of sections)
- http://w3-markup.com/examples/getpaid4yourrecipes.com/index (very large, spacious, I like
the design)
- http://www.wwt.org.uk/ (Nice way of organizing content, professional & unique, I like the changing images)
