Description of Business Development: Intro to EIS
Elmira Industrial Supplies supplies ug is a growing five-people startup focused on supplying material technologies to manufacturers in Europe and Asia. We use third-parties to manufacture in India. We are looking at the first million euro turnover for the end of 2018. The main technology we are focusing on is polyols for rigid polyurethane foams, for insulation and structural reinforcement and hardeners for epoxy and phenolic formulations.
Your Position at EIS
Qualified candidates should be excited by the challenge of developing the business for new technical products within the materials technology sector. The country of action will be determined based on the own languages proficiency.
Particularly, you are going to be responsible for the market research, sales and projects management for the company, locally in Berlin, supporting a coordinated business development strategy together with the management.
What we require from you:
● Minimum 3 years of experience in a B2B commercial position, in a chemistry related sector.
● Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a material science related field.
● Proved practical knowledge of technical sales dynamics in the materials technology sector.
● Excellent command of English.
● At least one of the following languages is required: German, Russian, Turkish and/or French.
Skills and Qualities:
● Strong capacity in Technical Sales and Public Relations.
● Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and bring innovative ideas.
● Curious, creative individual with a strong work ethic and proven effective.
● Proven track record in driving successful results even without direct authority.
● Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
● Excellent communication and influencing skills.
