Description
Description of requirements:
- We are looking for someone to assess source code files and folders from our manufacturer in order to determine how easy it would be to make amendments and fix bugs.
- The assessment should include basic explanation of the contents of the folders and files, feedback on the quality of the code, clarification of the coding language and programming platform, and an estimate for the timescale on making amendments (such as typeface and messaging).
- Candidates would be required to sign an NDA before receiving the files for assessment.

Hi Alex. You can do a NDA though PPH. Thanks, Clive.
Alex G.25 Jul 2017Yes, but i understand you must send a proposal first.

Hi Alex. Please send over your NDA. Thanks. Clive.
Alex G.24 Jul 2017Hi Clive,
I don't seem to be able to access your profile via the clarification board. You may have to send me a proposal before I can attach the NDA. I will need your full name, trading as, and address.
Thanks

Hello, What programming language is the source code in? presumably C or C++?(given the embedded nature of the product), Cheers.
Alex G.24 Jul 2017Hi NVision,
I've tried looking at the files and there is a lot of C File and H File which looks like the relevant content.

Hi Alex, are you able to clarify the platform and language that the code is written in? Many thanks
Alex G.24 Jul 2017Hi Marion,
I'm afraid my understanding is very minimal. On my initial examination, it appears that I have some files which are associated with the development environment, some files associated with installing the software onto the units, and some files associated with the software itself.
I have come across files which appear to be associated with Metroworks CodeWarrior.
I can see CFG, ROM, PAK, C File, H File, CPP File.
I need someone to take a look at it all and advise whether it's straight forward to make some basic changes.
