Description
Experience Level: Expert
Information for the business: I make videos for classroom use.
Industry: Education
Design details: I need the attached battle images (classical paintings, public domain) brought to life by being converted to layers to the extent possible, and rendered with slow-drift and zoom effects emulating a slow-motion 3D-perspective look (even though this is 2D animation), with some smoke, atmospherics, and subtle light-flash/explosion effects added to highlight canon fire. Higher-res versions available; approx. 25 percent resolution versions attached here. Will need at least 10-20 seconds of footage generated from each image, which I will use in post-production editing of a longer video.
Target audience: Students of history and political science
Ideas for the visual style: Preserve the original classical look but add effects that bring it to life.
Things to avoid: Not too exaggerated or fake-looking. Slow and subtle movement.
Extra notes: This is for a video on early modern warfare, from the Battle of Pavia (Italian Wars), through the Anglo-Dutch Wars (storming of Coevorden) and the Coalition/Napoleonic Wars (Battle of Trafalgar). See attached lower-res samples.
