Batista,
Can you give a little more data on what makes your salon stand out. USPs?
When do you want to get started and will there be on going PR which is vital to a successful campaign?
Cheers..
PaulBatista B.19 Jun 2017Hi Paul
So 1 of the things that make us stand out is the decor and the music we have in the salon. Previous to us taking over it haD been a salon and was succesful, but the inside was awful and dirty and very very tierd looking. I'm actually an interior designer not a hair dresser so the shop has had a very well thought of refurbishment. The music we play is soft spanish and Brazilan music, we dont have key103 blasting over speakers so you can't hear yourself think. 2nd USP is we are a Brazilian influenced salon. 80% of my staff are brazilian, we specialse in Brazilian Blow Drys, a lot of our products are from Brasil. ALSO while I'm talking about products I've now introduced a line called Davines from Italy. Its Organic, sulphate Free, parbens free and has a lot of care and love in all they create. We're pasingthis direct to the client. Our prices are very reasonable too considering we are so close to the city center and the customer service a client expierences here is way up there. I come from a cabin crew background and I'm makig sure the stylists adapt that level to each client.
I'm sorry, thats way more than 2 points. But all this I want everybody to know and come here!!Paul D.19 Jun 2017Hello Batista,
Dust finally clearing at my end hence the delay in replying.
These all very good points and I can see your passion for the salon. I also know Manchester quite well. Lived there and worked in Salford.
Considering your budget, are you looking at commercial level PR or human interest level PR that encompasses your salon? The two is very distinct in application and cost. Commercial is business driven news while human interest appeals to a broader audience and significantly more cost effective. It's the angle that is key and content follows.
Do you have an idea of budget or are you testing the market to see what's out there?
Drafting a creative PR piece and disseminating to the right audience are the two elements you need. Is this the case?
Cheers..
Paul
