Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Estimated project duration: 1 - 2 weeks
Information for the business: Rooms for young professionals
Industry: Business
Design details: We specialise in rental rooms for young professionals. Looking for help creating attractive colour themed rooms using existing furniture, some of which is harder to decorate round. We usually style each room individually like a boutique hotel using Ikea or similar modern furniture and a colour feature wall. Or feature wallpaper. No need to visit the property. I have floor plans and photos to be posted in the next 24 hours.
Our latest property needs a colour theme for the hallway, new tiles and paint in the kitchen, plus 7 bedroom.
If you have an eye for colour and can produce simple visuals with suggested paint colours (Dulux), wallpaper, window blinds, kitchen wall tiles, Ikea type inexpensive pendant light shades. that would be a great help. Although you can be based anywhere I need to be able to source & buy things easily in the UK at a reasonable price. e.g. Ikea, Wilkinsons (Wilco), B&Q etc
Ideas for the visual style: Trompe L'oeil, striped or other wallpaper. Open to suggestions
NOTE: The pictures posted are rooms we have done.
Deadline for work: 22nd February 2016
I will post floor plan and measurements in the next 24 hours
Things to avoid: Nothing expensive or exclusive.
Extra notes: Existing furniture for most rooms are Ikea mirrored wardrobes, white gloss & walnut surround furniture and black leather bed frames.
Theres also a room with pine old fashioned furniture & another with two-tone blue and beech furniture. Can provide pictures later.
