Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Industry: Food and Beverage
Kind of design: Custom website
Num. of web pages: 2
Description of every page: Homepage contains a long scrolling page, like http://www.themillsf.com/#about
Similar to this, I will produce 4-6 pictures, which can hopefully scroll down with a different speed between the picture and the intercutting cards, creating this 3 dimensional effect.
The Second page will be a simple product page, where customers can place orders from our range of baked goods. At the moment our range consists of 11 products. We are also in the process of sorting out the paypal payment link.
Although the following link isn't directly relevant: http://www.themillsf.com/menu/ - I do like the idea of a sparse picture at the very top of the page and below can neatly list the products in categories (Sweet, savory and Bread) with small cropped images of the products beside. I not exactly sure how the paypal link works with the main website, but this is probably something an experienced designer can explain to me. Have a creative functionality on this page would also be a great bonus.
The two pages need to have a similar feel, and not completely disconnected in style and concept.
The deadline for the project is 3rd December, when hopefully everything can go live.
I look forward to hearing back from interested web designers.
Ideas for the visual style: Neat, modern, efficient and interesting functionality, classy text font that fits with the overall concept,
Things to avoid: Old fashioned layout, uninspiring text font, boring functionality,
Website information: We sell bread and patisseries
Urls to draw inspiration from: http://www.farine-bakery.com/#bread http://www.themillsf.com/#about
Extra notes:
