Design details: Hello, my name is Patrick. I am a young Senior Pastor at a church in Phoenix, Arizona. I started preaching a sermon series at my church. But I am looking for a professional graphic designer that can design me a Sermon Series Graphic that will go great with my Preaching series. I will eventually use this custom graphic design for my podcast, poster for the church, media outlet (Facebook, Instagram etc.) and as a template slide for my power point presentation. But I really need a good design to represent what I will be preaching for the next month in my church. Here is the title of my Sermon Series called: "Jesus is the Gospel" subtitle: Sermon on the Mount (Matthew chapters 5-7). We don't need to put the Biblical reference or maybe we do. Don't know yet.
Target audience: Members of the congregation and people interest in what we are teaching about.
Ideas for the visual style: I will attach a folder with the style of design I like. There is a graphic design titled "Just Jesus: The Gospel of Matthew" which is inline with what I am almost searching for.
Preferred colors: I like strong vibrant colors. Whether they be black or grey I like it to be vibrant.
Where the design will be used: print, web and projection
Extra notes: I just don't want the text to visually stun me but I want the picture, style, format to also describe what I intend to communicate.
The synopsis of the preaching so you can get a context of what I am trying to say. In Christianity people usually have the wrong impression that the Gospel= good news is only taught by the apostles of the New Testament especially Paul. So when I ask Christians if Jesus ever taught the Gospel (good news) usually they answer saying, "Of course not, only Paul spoke about the Gospel." If that is the case then by logic we don't need the Old Testament (books from Genesis - Malachi) and we don't need the teachings of "Jesus." All we really need is the last week of what Jesus did on the cross and the Apostle Paul. See my point? That can't be true we do need the Old Testament of our Bibles and we also need the life of Jesus and his teachings like in Matthew, Mark, Luke and John it's no coincidence they are titled the Gospels. What Christians and non-Christians get confused is that they think the Gospel is salvation culture (personal salvation) Am I in or out? But in reality that is only half of the story. So I want to argue that Jesus when He taught in Matthew He was actually preaching the Gospel the good news to everyone. Not just how to get saved. That is why my sermon series is titled "Jesus IS the Gospel" he not only taught about good news He is our good news.
I do need this job done by Sunday, September 10, 2017 by 9:00 am Mountain Standard Time. At least the main concept or the main graphic design. Everything else like the poster information we can do that later.
