Description
Experience Level: Expert
Estimated project duration: 1 - 6 months
I work as a VA and due to going on maternity leave, I am looking for a competent person to replace me while I am away (post will be for up to 6 months starting mid-Feb).
I work for 1 client around 10 hours a week (depending on my own availability and work available) and my responsibilities and skill set are quite varied, but mostly include:
- Working closely with the company CEO to help manage his diary, travel and some personal requirements
- Arranging travel for other team members
- HR-related tasks including logging holidays/sicknesses, advertising for and hiring new staff, helping enrol new staff with contracts etc.
- Arranging meetings for the team
- Using Asana to help manage the team's tasks and various workloads
- Building and managing complex zaps through zapier.com
- Proofreading
- Writing letters and various pieces of company copy where required
You'll need to be quite tech-savvy or able to pick up tech-related things quickly, and you'll need to have knowledge of (or be able to get up to speed with quickly) the following:
- Slack
- Asana
- Quip
- Lucidchart
- Zapier
The company I work for is a private education consultant company based in central London. You will primarily work alongside the CEO to help him in whatever way he needs, though through Slack you'll communicate with the entire team and help them where needed too. The role will be remote only, and I'm ideally looking for someone British/UK based (you'll need to be mostly available between 9am-5pm Mon-Fri) and who has impeccable English language, spelling and proofreading skills. You'll need a wicked eye for detail, and you'll need to be reliable and trustworthy, and highly organised.
